Ahmed Ebeid is a seasoned professional and senior executive with over 27 years of experience leading major capital programs across Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Middle East. He has served as Projects Department Director, Project Controls Director, Contracts Advisor, and PMO Leader on portfolios exceeding SAR 10 billion in value.
Ahmed specializes in project controls, planning and scheduling, and forensic delay analysis. He has successfully led the implementation of enterprise-level PMOs (EPMO, P3O), digital project governance frameworks, and advanced performance dashboards for high-profile public and private clients. He has also acted as expert advisor in construction claims and disputes, preparing and defending multi-million-dollar delay and cost claims. He supported clients across various sectors from power & water, to infrastructure, real estate, high rise towers, heritage redevelopment, and urban transformation. Some of the projects that he has been involved in include a multi-billion tunnel project, shopping malls, hotel complexes, multi-use developments, roads, railways, power plants, and water plants projects.
Ahmed has extensive experience across all major forms of dispute resolution including arbitration, expert determination, and amicable settlement negotiations. His contract expertise covers a wide spectrum of forms including JCT, NEC, FIDIC, the Saudi Public Works Contract, Saudi Aramco standard form contracts, and numerous bespoke and hybrid contracts across complex project settings.
Ahmed holds a masters in construction law & Arbitration (LLM) from Robert Gordon University – 2019, and a BSc. degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University – 1998. He also is a Certified Earned Value Professional (EVP), and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), Society of Construction Law, PMI, and AACE.
Ahmed is bilingual in Arabic and English and is uniquely positioned to advise and lead project controls, institutional transformation and delivery strategies across complex, multi-stakeholder environments throughout Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.
Tarek Ismail is a highly accomplished Project Management Consultant with over 30 years of extensive experience in the construction industry. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo in 2002, following a Professional Diploma in Project Management from the same institution in 1997 and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University in 1991.
In 2007, Tarek played a pivotal role in developing project management strategies and methodologies for the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA). He has successfully established and operated Project Management Offices (PMOs) for several organizations, including the Madina Development Authority and the Madina Regional Municipality, demonstrating his leadership and strategic vision. His experience as a Project Control Manager encompasses large-scale projects such as the Ismailia Tunnels under the Suez Canal, showcasing his ability to drive complex initiatives to success. He is also experienced in Design Management, having contributed to the development of the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Tarek is committed to continuous professional development, having participated in numerous workshops on Project Management, Strategic Management, and Quality Management across Japan, the USA, the UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. His dedication to the field is reflected in his active membership in prestigious organizations, including the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American Association for Cost Engineers (AACE), the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), and the Egyptian Syndicate for Engineers. Tarek’s diverse expertise and collaborative approach make him a valuable asset in the realm of project and program management.
Mr. Tarek Hamed holds a Ph.D. in Construction Management (2011), a Master’s (1999), and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (1990) from Cairo University, along with a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration (2001). He has extensive expertise in FIDIC Conditions of Contract, bid document preparation, contract negotiation, and construction claims. Mr. Hamed has served as a chairman and co-arbitrator in multiple arbitration cases and participated in a Dispute Adjudication Board for a road project in Albania. With involvement in over fifteen arbitration cases as counsel and three as an expert witness, he also teaches courses on construction contracts and dispute resolution at Cairo University and the American University in Cairo. Additionally, he has authored several papers on construction contracts and is recognized as a Certified Construction Project Supervisor (CCPS) by ASCE, contributing to committees on construction contracts in Egypt.
With 37 years in the construction industry, Mohammad has developed extensive expertise in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Cost Consultancy, and more. His diverse experience spans small to mega projects across various sectors, including airports, hospitality, education, health, and mixed-use developments. Having spent over 20 years in senior managerial roles, he has successfully established and managed operations in four territories, enhancing his skills in client relations and multi-party project coordination. After studying Quantity Surveying in the UK, he began his career with D.G. Jones & Partners in Lebanon in 1992, later moving to Cairo in 2000 and becoming Managing Director in 2004. After 30 years with DGJ, he transitioned to Istanbul to focus on KPM.
A versatile, adaptive, and innovative engineering and construction Executive with a history of exceptional performance and results due to a unique ability to work across cultures in difficult environments. Mike builds high performance diverse multi-national teams that achieve significant improvement in the delivery of capital project portfolio’s, programs, and projects. He has experience in multiple industries including Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Consumer Products, Mining and Minerals, and Government both domestic and international. He has expertise in engineering, construction management, safety, quality, cost and schedule management, risk management, and setting and managing client expectations and satisfaction.
Mike has more than 13 years Capital Program Management Leadership Experience. He has led and setup the transformations of international and domestic Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services (EPCM) Programs and Project Management Organizations (PMOs) where his responsibilities included P&L responsibility and accountability. The EPCM Programs he led and directed were for small and mid-size capital projects with total annual capital expenditures that averaged $100 million/year/ program. The small capital EPCM programs were comprised of projects with an average Total Installed Cost (TIC) of $600,000. Key clients he directed and implemented these programs for included Equistar/Lyndell, Borealis, ExxonMobil and a Global Consumer Products confidential client. The PMO he directed was for a portfolio of over $20Bn for the Saudi Arabian Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWA) with an annual spend of over $7.0Bn/year.
Mike was offered the VP of Global Quality for Jacobs Engineering because of his success and accomplishments implementing client programs. His appointment was to lead a key business transformation initiative; the replacement of an archaic quality management system for the 80,000-employee global company with the design and development of a state-of-the-art ISO compliant global Business Management System (BMS). The BMS significantly improved, accountability, process integration, role clarity and the incorporation of best practices. This was accomplished utilizing a refined and highly effective and collaborative SIPOC process wherein SMEs were selected and assembled in the various work streams/disciplines to collaborate, capture best practices and align on procedures within each workstream/discipline. The 1st draft documents were created in weeklong workshops and finalized shortly after completion of the workshops. The process was run like a project and included execution plans, budgets and schedules with key milestones. The project also included launching the new documents and training on the same.
